DAB DAY - Tropic Invasion 2026 Wrap Up!

A Night of Art, Music, and Creative Culture

On October 17th, the Tropic Invasion Music, Art & Halloween Festival brought together an incredible collection of artists, musicians, vendors, and creatives for an unforgettable celebration at The Glass Factory and Myrtle Ave Brewery.

Presented by Dab Day Productions, the festival delivered an amazing lineup of talent, a massive turnout, and an electric atmosphere that perfectly captured the spirit of Jacksonville's growing creative community.

For Culture Design Co. (CDC), the event represented another exciting opportunity to bring our passion for art, design, and independent creative culture into a shared space where artists and audiences could connect firsthand.

Operating under our glass arts collective, Jax Glass Gallery, Culture Design Co. proudly sponsored the glass artists participating in the event, helping bring live glassblowing and handcrafted functional art into the heart of the festival.

The result? A successful night of creativity, collaboration, incredible sales, and meaningful connections that reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

Jax Glass Gallery: Bringing the Heat to Tropic Invasion

One of the highlights of the evening was the live glassblowing experience presented through Jax Glass Gallery, with support from Culture Design Co.

Our goal was simple: create an environment where talented glass artists could showcase their skills, connect with new audiences, and share their work directly with the community.

Throughout the festival, attendees had the opportunity to experience the artistry and craftsmanship behind handmade glass firsthand.

From the heat of the torch to the intricate details of the finished pieces, the live demonstrations offered festivalgoers a look into a creative process that often happens behind closed studio doors.

The glass artists brought incredible energy to the event, sharing their passion for the medium while engaging with curious customers, fellow creatives, and longtime supporters.

Beyond the demonstrations, the event also proved to be a fantastic opportunity for artists to sell their work. Strong customer engagement, enthusiastic buyers, and great sales helped make the evening a rewarding experience for everyone involved.

For Jax Glass Gallery, the success wasn't measured in sales alone. It was about creating opportunities for independent artists, introducing new audiences to glass art, and strengthening the community surrounding the craft.

904 PizzaBoy × 151 Glass × Sunburn Cannabis: A Creative Collaboration

Adding another exciting dimension to the event was the participation of two of our in-house artists, 904 PizzaBoy and 151 Glass, who represented Sunburn Cannabis in conjunction with Culture Design Co.

The collaboration brought together distinct creative identities under a shared appreciation for independent art, craftsmanship, and culture.

Both artists played an important role in representing the collaboration, connecting the worlds of functional glass art, contemporary design, and the broader creative community.

Working alongside Sunburn Cannabis gave our artists another opportunity to showcase their work while representing the talent and creative vision that Culture Design Co. continues to cultivate.

This partnership was a perfect example of what we believe makes independent art communities thrive: artists, brands, and businesses coming together to support one another while creating authentic experiences for their audiences.

For CDC, seeing our in-house talent represented alongside an established brand like Sunburn Cannabis was an exciting moment and another step toward expanding the reach of our artists and collaborative projects.

An Incredible Lineup and an Even Better Turnout

Tropic Invasion delivered on every front.

With an amazing lineup of music, visual art, vendors, and Halloween-inspired entertainment, the festival created an atmosphere that kept attendees engaged throughout the event.

The large turnout brought a steady flow of customers, collectors, and curious festivalgoers through the participating artist spaces, creating an ideal environment for discovering new work and supporting local talent.

For our glass artists, the response was overwhelmingly positive.

The combination of live demonstrations, face-to-face conversations, and direct sales made the event both creatively fulfilling and commercially successful.

It was especially rewarding to see festivalgoers who had never experienced live glassblowing stop to watch, ask questions, and develop a new appreciation for the skill involved.

The energy was contagious, and the enthusiasm extended beyond the customers to the artists themselves.

Between creating, selling, networking, and enjoying the festival, the glassblowing crew had an incredible time being part of the experience.

A Major Success for Culture Design Co.

At its core, Culture Design Co. is about more than creating products. It's about building a culture around art, design, and the people who make it possible.

Tropic Invasion was a strong reflection of that mission.

Through Jax Glass Gallery, we were able to support a talented group of glass artists, provide opportunities for exposure and sales, and help bring an interactive artistic experience to a large festival audience.

Through our collaboration involving 904 PizzaBoy, 151 Glass, and Sunburn Cannabis, we were able to further connect our in-house creative talent with brands and audiences that share an appreciation for original work.

And through the festival itself, we had the chance to celebrate alongside an incredible community of artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, and supporters.

The impressive turnout, successful sales, and positive reception made Tropic Invasion a major win for our collective.

More importantly, it reinforced the value of building genuine relationships between artists, brands, and the communities that support them.

Good art brings people together. Great collaborations give that art room to grow.

Looking Ahead: More Art, More Collaborations, More Culture

The success of Tropic Invasion has us more excited than ever about the future of Culture Design Co. and Jax Glass Gallery.

Events like this demonstrate the potential of bringing independent artists into larger creative spaces, where their work can be experienced, appreciated, and supported by new audiences.

As we continue developing our brands, supporting our in-house artists, and building relationships with like-minded businesses, we're looking forward to creating even more opportunities for the creative community.

We want to extend a huge thank-you to Dab Day Productions for putting together an incredible festival, Sunburn Cannabis for the collaboration, The Glass Factory and Myrtle Ave Brewery for hosting, and every artist, vendor, customer, and festivalgoer who helped make the event such a success.

A special thank-you goes out to the glass artists who brought their talent, hard work, and positive energy to the event. You are what makes this community special.

And of course, a shoutout to 904 PizzaBoy and 151 Glass for continuing to represent the creative spirit behind Culture Design Co.

This is what we're building. This is what we believe in. This is CULTURE.
